GET RID of the CHICKEN WING in your GOLF SWING – Swing fault series Part 4

Full Swing - how to hit golf shots further, Full Swing - movement through impact, Golf swing fault series, How to hit straighter golf shots

Chicken winging through impact, or bending your left arm (if you’re a right handed player), is an extremely common issue for golfers and causes thin strikes, low shot flights and issues with directional control. It’s a product of not quite synchronising your body’s rotational speed with the club head’s movement around you, but after watching this video and trying the swing drill/tip given to you by Natalie Adams of Smash Factor golf coaching, you should really experience an improvement in your body and arm release through impact and see you golf shots massively improve.

Ensuring you have the correct set up, or address position, for the different golf clubs you need to use out on the golf course, will give you the best opportunity to hit effective golf shots with each one. Here is a video showing the difference in hand position, ball position and body/head position as you set up and get ready to make your golf swing, between those different clubs that you carry in your golf bag.
