Stop swaying, hitting fat golf shots & gain more shot distance

Stop hitting...

If you struggle with swaying during your back swing it will result in both a loss of power and an inconsistent strike when playing your golf shots. Learning how to rotate and make a better pivot during your golf back swing, will help you to achieve more coil which produces power and shot distance, plus it will help you strike the golf ball much cleaner as it improves where the low point of your golf swing is relative to the golf ball. Here’s a really easy drill to work on to improve that pivoting rotation during your back swing, so that you eliminate any sway.

My golfing lockdown diary DAY 14

Being able to create power and maximise shot distance with your golf swing requires you to move optimally through impact. Being able to engage your core and rotate your body against the resistance you create in your lead leg, will allow you to power the club through impact, with hands leading the club head and arms extending towards the target. Sounds difficult? Not with this simple impact drill that will help you learn the feeling required.
